NETFLIX has announced the revival of an acclaimed animated horror series after a successful first season.
Castlevania: Nocturne gained an impressive viewership rating and has been ranked in the top 10 English TV shows just five days after release.
The animated horror series has been granted a second-season renewal just a week after its first season's full release.
Series showrunners Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde thanked fans of the show in a recent interview with Variety Magazine.
They said: "Thanks to all of the Castlevania fans, old and new, for the amazing response and support! We are excited to be able to bring you more Castlevania: Nocturne and the next chapter in the rise of Richter Belmont."
Nocturne's success isn't surprising, as the Netflix has always been enthusiastic about its Castlevania animated shows, which adapt the long-running Dracula-killing video game franchise.
