SHAHS of Sunset star Golnesa 'GG' Gharachedaghi revealed she tracked down her baby son's anonymous sperm donor.
The Bravolebrity and new mom said she acted like a 'PI' to find the man's identity.
Golnesa shared on her Genuinely GG podcast of her process to choose a sperm donor for her baby saying: "Mine is completely anonymous, but I have the file. And the file has the photo and so much information. Do I hand him the file? When do I hand him the file? If he says mom, help me find him…
Her guest Bravo boss, Andy Cohen, chimed in: "I think you let him guide that conversation… He could be 20, and he finally says I wish you had a picture of my biological… You could say well I do."
GG admitted she actually found the donor's identity herself, sharing: "I turned into a private investigator… a couple days before I was about to put the embryo inside of me.
"And I thought what if everything in this file is a lie. And he's a mass murderer killer and he's a psychopath…"
She went on: "I had private investigator Gigi do that, and I regret finding him. I found everything from Instagram to businesses, home, I found everything.
"And I regret it, but I made a promise to myself that I would never again go back and check, and I haven't. I just wanted the reassurance that the file I chose to create my child is going to be safe. And he was. He matched up to everything that he said about himself in his file, based on his Instagram photos- a breath of fresh air.
GG welcomed her son, Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi, at the end of April last year.
She is single and conceived her child via IVF, announced she was pregnant with her first child back in October, telling People: “This is what I wanted my entire life.
“When little girls were talking about their perfect husband and their perfect weddings, I was talking about the 10 kids I was going to have.”
The Shahs of Sunset cast member has been open about her experience with IVF on her journey to becoming a mom.
Last season on the Bravo reality series, GG revealed she’d previously conceived via IVF but ultimately lost the baby last spring, about seven weeks in, due to an ectopic pregnancy.
GG shared a post-op photo of herself, writing: “Life throws me another curveball and this one hits quite hard.
“…I'm a strong believer in karma and I do believe I've done enough wrong, that this is my karma cycle.
“I'm not a victim and will never play the victim role. This was simply a lesson.”
