A struggling Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) has found himself at breaking point in EastEnders as the fan favourite was left feeling a shell of his usual self after suffering a panic attack during Whitney Dean’s (Shona McGarty) trial.
And after he reflected on his past, the scenes hinted at the theory that has been doing the rounds with fans that Mick was abused as a child.
We recently discovered that he had a daughter he knew nothing about as Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) gave the name of her mum, Katy.
This left Mick reeling as Frankie explained how she found letters he had sent to her – but Mick has been left haunted and troubled ever since, leaving fans to speculate that Mick was too young to consent to a relationship with Katy – and that Frankie may have been the result of abuse.
EastEnders is yet to confirm this, but Mick was clearly talking about something much deeper when he said to Linda (Kellie Bright) that he shouldn’t have let it happen.
Linda thought that Mick was talking about Whitney but as Mick headed to bed after an exhausting day, there was a lot on his mind.
What harrowing secrets is he hiding – and will he open up to Linda?
