Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) is left fearing the worst in EastEnders, as she starts bleeding ahead of a devastating accident.
Ruby has been pretending to be pregnant, after Martin Fowler (James Bye) revealed that he didn’t want any more children.
The young woman has other things on her mind in episodes which will air this week, however, as Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra) exposes her as the orchestrator of the attack last year which left Martin fighting for his life.
Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) then drops another bombshell, as he reveals that Ruby masterminded his escape plan with Arthur over the festive season.
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is livid upon discovering the truth, and masterminds her own revenge plan, as she sets out to prove Ruby isn’t pregnant.
What happens next remains to be seen, but next week sees Stacey reluctantly apologise to Ruby following recent events.
Ruby faces another obstacle when Martin wants to know about their 12 week scan, and thus she’s forced to look into private scans, as she knows the dates won’t add up.
While at the hospital, the sonographer tells Ruby that she’s, in fact, 7 weeks pregnant, and the reality of the situation dawns on the young woman.
Martin is determined to ensure that Ruby relaxes, and therefore he books a trip for over Easter. Ruby suggests that they should take the kids with them, and Lily soon promises to get her mum on side if Ruby does something for her.
Martin, Ruby and Stacey talk things through at The Queen Vic, but when Greece is brought up as a topic of conversation, Lily is suddenly all ears — something which leaves Stacey fuming.
It doesn’t take long for things to turn nasty, and Ruby heads to the bathroom, before abruptly leaving.
She phones the hospital — she’s bleeding.
What happens next is yet to be revealed, but Stacey is later left fuming when she discovers Lily has ordered glam stuff for the holiday on her card, and vows to make Ruby pay — literally (we think).
She later stops by the club, and demands the money for Lily’s purchases, but the pair soon start reminiscing about days gone by.
However, Ruby’s scheming comes to light once more, and the argument reignites — but Ruby falls backwards down the stairs!
Will she be okay? Will the baby?
