THE Bill actor Andrew Paul became a family favourite for years playing PC Dave Quinnan.
And so this why fans were forced to take a second look when he appeared in season two of Netflix's The Witcher, as he looked completely different.
The 61 year old actor, who joined The Bill in 1989 and stayed for 13 years, is now playing a merchant named Colin Coppercloth, in season two of the drama.
Dressed in a slightly dishevelled manner Andrew was a far cry from his everyday appearance.
Clearly a fan of the Netflix show, former BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker was quick to spot Andrew and took to Twitter to share the news with his 788,000 followers.
He wrote: "Can anyone beat PC Dave Quinnan from The Bill turning up in Season 2 of The Witcher (and lasting about 20 seconds) for a more random cameo?”
