Bachelor couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick moved in together just six months after going on their first date. They’ve already met each other’s families–they’re currently working on getting their dads to meet at an upcoming golf event Chris Harrison is helping to put together. They just adopted a golden retriever together named Ramen.
For couples in the real world, Kaitlyn and Jason may seem to be on the fast track. But for a Bachelor couple, they think they’re taking their relationship at an arguably slow pace.
“We come from Bachelor world, where this is actually taking it slow,” Kaitlyn Bristowe recently told ET. “We are just coasting!”
Why Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick are already ready to take their relationship to the next level
Kaitlyn and Jason are moving along at the pace they are for a few different reasons. The first being: it just feels right.
“I didn’t realize a relationship could be this easy and that I could be this happy with somebody. It’s just so easy,” Kaitlyn explained. “We just have a really healthy relationship, healthy communication, and we build each other up.”

Jason also attributes the couple’s relationship standing to both parties being so open and vulnerable.
“The crazy thing about this whole Bachelor world is that it guts you up and opens you up, and you talk about everything and anything, and become comfortable in yourself and your emotions,” he said. “I think that’s why you see so many people in the franchise have relationships, whether it’s via podcast or on the show or [Bachelor in] Paradise or whatever. … We were just so open. We know what we want, we know what we don’t want, and yeah, we’re here.”
Katilyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick are already talking about marriage and kids
Kaitlyn and Jason said that they were out having lunch together recently when they heard the table next to them discussing their wedding. It inspired the couple to start talking about their own ceremony. Lauren Bushnell’s recent engagement also got their wheels turning.
“I zoomed in on [Lauren Bushnell’s] ring and I was like, ‘Look, it’s the exact one I want!’ …Congratulations to them, by the way,” said Kaitlyn. “What I really like is just a simple band with a fatty rock. A big, fatty rock and a simple band. I don’t ask for much! I like rectangle, I like square and I like round — just not teardrop. … I just want something that can make my hands a little cuter.”
Having kids is also on the horizon for Jason and Kaitlyn, as Jason mentioned he’s “not getting any younger.” Apparently, they’ve already discussed names.

In the meantime, Kaitlyn and Jason are practicing being parents to Ramen.
“We’re doing a crash course,” Jason said of adopting their new furry kid.
“I want two dogs, three kids,” he added.
“I mean, I’m fine with one or two,” said Kaitlyn. “I used to want five [kids], but now I’m like, ‘OK, I’m turning 34 tomorrow, and I’m like, ‘You know what? One would be great!’”
