Dermot O'Leary left This Morning fans confused on Friday, after he covered his eyes and pulled on some heavy duty headphones before an interview with Jill Halfpenny.
He and fellow Friday host Alison Hammond spoke to the former EastEnders star about her gripping Channel 5 drama The Drowning.
But X Factor host Dermot explained he hadn't managed to catch the series yet and didn't want to spoil anything for himself, so made sure he couldn't see or hear the first half of the interview.
Viewers at home couldn't believe what they were seeing, with some even labelling his actions "rude".
One said: "Dermot is such a sore a***. He's got to steal the show. That's so rude during an interview. Kick that off that couch!"
Another replied: "I agree completely! So so so rude."
A third tweeted: "How f***ing rude of Dermot."
While someone else asked: "Dermot, what you doing?"
However others said they were thinking of tweeting the spoilers to Dermot after the fact.

"I'd definitely tell O'Leary what happens. Love to spoil it for people that don't want to know," one said.
Another wrote: "Someone tweet spoilers to Dermot's Twitter!"
Meanwhile, some fans thought the whole thing was hilarious – as did actress Jill Halfpenny.
One wrote: "Sitting with TV on mute. Already Dermot made me laugh more than I have done all week."

After Alison and Jill had finished talking about The Drowning in such detail, it was safe for Dermot to take off his headphones.
He had been dancing around to whatever music he was listening to in his headphones to blank out the sound of the interview.
Dermot told Jill: "When I knew you were coming on, I thought, ''I can't destroy it'.
"I didn't want to spoil anything for myself."
The Drowning followed Jills character as she discovered a boy she believed was actually her son who had died many years before and tried to get to the bottom of it.
It also starred the likes of Jonas Armstrong, Deborah Findlay and Rupert Penry-Jones.
