Top 10 movies of 2021: From Spider-Man to Dune –’s favourite films this year

Many of 2021’s films were delayed from the year before, so there was plenty for movie fans to enjoy over the past 12 months. James Bond’s No Time To Die was finally released but being a middling 007 movie it didn’t quite make our Top 10 this year despite our love for the spy franchise. Nevertheless,’s Film section reporters have been polled and have provided an eclectic mix of our favourites released in UK cinemas and streaming services in 2021.

Our No 1 movie this year was also’s 2021’s highest-grossing and saw a multiverse blockbuster spectacular with all three live-action iterations of Spider-Man to date sharing the big screen together.
