{"id":67436,"date":"2023-08-29T21:39:36","date_gmt":"2023-08-29T21:39:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/likecelebwn.com\/?p=67436"},"modified":"2023-08-29T21:39:36","modified_gmt":"2023-08-29T21:39:36","slug":"royal-family-stopped-meghan-markle-saying-very-particular-word-on-suits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/likecelebwn.com\/entertainment\/royal-family-stopped-meghan-markle-saying-very-particular-word-on-suits\/","title":{"rendered":"Royal Family &#039;stopped Meghan Markle saying very particular word&#039; on Suits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Suits | Season 7 - Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"970\" height=\"546\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Ab2YIbP5xw8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The creator of Suits has opened up about working with Meghan Markle, claiming that members of the Royal Family put their foot down over some scenes.<\/p>\n<p>The actress became a household name thanks to her role as Rachel Zane in the legal drama, which also starred Patrick J Adams, Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman and Wendell Pierce.<\/p>\n<p>However, it attracted an even bigger audience when the 42-year-old started dating Prince Harry \u2013 who she married in 2018 \u2013 and she left at the end of season seven.<\/p>\n<p>The program eventually ended with season nine in 2019, but the episodes arrived on Netflix in the US over the summer, with many viewers now calling out for a reboot.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in a new interview, creator and writer Aaron Korsh reflected on the popularity of the series, and the heightened attention and security that came with having the Duchess of Sussex in the cast after her relationship with Harry was made public.<\/p>\n<p>Touching on changes they were asked to make behind the scenes, he told the Hollywood Reporter: \u2018I will say, and I think Harry put this in the book, because I heard people talking about it \u2013 [the Royal Family] weighed in on some stuff. Not many things, by the way, but a few things that we wanted to do and couldn\u2019t do, and it was a little irritating.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/GettyImages-483720610.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><\/p>\n<p>The producer explained that, in one particular scene, he had written for Rachel to describe something as \u2018poppycock\u2019, which was a running joke with his family in real life.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018In the episode, Mike and Rachel were going to have a thing, and as a nod to my in-laws, we were going to have her say, \u201cMy family would say poppycock.\u201d And the Royal Family did not want her saying the word. They didn\u2019t want to put the word \u201cpoppycock\u201d in her mouth,\u2019 he continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I presume because they didn\u2019t want people cutting things together of her saying \u201cc**k.\u201d So, we had to change it to \u201cbulls**t\u201d instead of \u201cpoppycock,\u201d and I did not like it because I\u2019d told my in-laws that [poppycock] was going to be in the show.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Aaron insisted that he wasn\u2019t sure how the Royals managed to get their hands on the script, but he was aware that they were reading them through feedback that was given to him.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Explaining that it wasn\u2019t Meghan who put the request in, he recalled: \u2018Whoever it was, they didn\u2019t like having to tell me any more than I liked having to hear it.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018But listen, when they explained it that way, and I\u2019m pretty sure it got explained to me that it was about that [splicing potential], I had some sympathy because I wouldn\u2019t want somebody doing that to her either.\u00a0And the thing is, I didn\u2019t think anybody really would, but also I don\u2019t know. People are crazy.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Suits arrived on Netflix in the US on June 17, and has remained in the top 10 list of programs on the streaming platform ever since.<\/p>\n<p>Given the new success, questions have unsurprisingly been asked on whether we could see the Pearson Hardman gang back on our screens in a reboot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Executive producer Gene Klein previously told TV Line: \u2018I\u2019ve mentioned to Aaron, in this era of reboots and reunions and all this other stuff, that I\u2019m expecting a call at some point. But I\u2019m not aware of any serious conversations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It\u2019s just one of those things where, in this day and age, you wouldn\u2019t be surprised if somebody called you someday.
