{"id":67844,"date":"2023-09-12T07:59:02","date_gmt":"2023-09-12T07:59:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/likecelebwn.com\/?p=67844"},"modified":"2023-09-12T07:59:02","modified_gmt":"2023-09-12T07:59:02","slug":"aerosmith-postpone-tour-due-to-steven-tyler-75-injury","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/likecelebwn.com\/entertainment\/aerosmith-postpone-tour-due-to-steven-tyler-75-injury\/","title":{"rendered":"Aerosmith postpone tour due to Steven Tyler, 75, injury"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/SEI_171222718-da0e.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Aerosmith have postponed dates on their last ever world tour, Peace Out.<\/p>\n<p>The rockers have been forced to pause their tour after frontman Steven Tyler, 75, sustained a vocal cord injury which led to \u2018bleeding\u2019. <\/p>\n<p>The band kicked off the North American leg of their tour in Philadelphia on September 2. <\/p>\n<p>It was due to continue in Toronto, Canada today [September 12], but the band have been forced to push back six of their shows. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018I\u2019m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor\u2019s orders not to sing for the next thirty days,\u2019 Steven said on social media yesterday. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday\u2019s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We\u2019ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.\u2019 <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><\/p>\n<p>They continued, saying that all ticketholders would be able to receive refunds if unable to attend new dates. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018All previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the rescheduled dates,\u2019 they confirmed. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018Refunds will be available for those unable to attend. Fans with questions regarding refunds are asked to reach out to their point of purchase.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><\/p>\n<h2><i class=\"icon icon-exclaim\"><\/i>Aerosmith rescheduled tour dates<\/h2>\n<p>Monday 29 Jan 2024 \u2013 Detroit, MI \u2013 Little Caesars Arena<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday 14 Feb 2024 \u2013 Chicago, IL \u2013 United Center<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 17 Feb 2024 \u2013 Washington, DC \u2013 Capital One Arena<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday 21 Feb 2024 \u2013 Toronto, ON \u2013 Scotiabank Arena<\/p>\n<p>Monday 26 Feb 2024 \u2013 Raleigh.
