“These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies. And as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.<\/p>\n
“During that time of promiscuity the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent. And I’m being transparent about it now as well.<\/p>\n
“And to see that transparency metastasise into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question if there is another agenda at play. I don’t mind them using my books and my stand up to talk about my promiscuous, consensual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very, very serious criminal allegations.<\/p>\n
“Also it’s worth mentioning there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives these two mainstream outlets are trying to construct, apparently in what seems to me to be a co-ordinated attack.<\/p>\n
“I don’t want to get into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations but I feel like I’m being attacked and plainly they are working very closely together. We are obviously going to look into this matter because it is very, very serous. In the meantime I want you to stay close, stay awake but more importantly than any of that, if you can, please stay free,” he concluded.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Speaking on her TalkTV drivetime show this afternoon about the current furore surrounding the comedian, Vanessa recalled her own encounter with him in 2006.<\/p>\n Vanessa admitted that she already knew Russell from working on other shows with him when she agreed to appear on his chat show, 1 Leicester Square. She then played a clip of the show, in which Russell blatantly asks her: \u201cCan I have it off with either you or your daughters?\u201d<\/p>\n Without missing a beat, she emphatically replied at the time: \u201cNo, you may not! No\u2026\u201d Undeterred, Russell persisted: \u201cVanessa Feltz, come on, some of them are adults.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve got two daughters and no, the answer is no,\u201d she reiterated. \u201cNone of them?\u201d he asks. \u201cNeither,\u201d she responded. \u201cWill you stop it? No you can\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n He then calls her \u201cselfish,\u201d saying \u201cyou\u2019ve got two whole daughters and I can\u2019t even have one?\u201d<\/p>\n After playing the clip, Vanessa explained: \u201cIt\u2019s terribly awkward when you are a guest on somebody else\u2019s show, particularly in a theatre, which is full of great fans of the presenter\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cI was in this unbelievably awkward position where you don\u2019t quite know what to do. Are you meant to think it\u2019s funny and play along? Are you meant to stand up and walk out in high dudgeon and look as if you are a spoilsport and a party-pooper? What are you supposed to do?\u201d she queried.<\/p>\n \u201cI know, I was deeply offended then, as I remain deeply offended now at the idea of him saying, \u2018I want to have sex with you and both your daughters\u2019.
