Unfortunately for Amanda, 52, she wasn\u2019t so lucky \u2013 as she revealed she had accidentally packed her husband, Chris Hughes\u2019, passport instead.<\/p>\n
She shared the painful story with Heart FM co-hosts Jamie Theakston and Zoe Hardman via video chat, explaining she was supposed to fly from London City Airport but had to make a last-minute dash to Gatwick.<\/p>\n
\u2018I got to City Airport and I opened my passport and it was my husband Chris\u2019 blinking passport.\u2019<\/p>\n

Jamie was all of us in his reaction, as he gasped and said the idea of that happening gives him \u2018goosebumps.\u2019<\/p>\n
Admitting it was her \u2018worst nightmare,\u2019 Amanda explained the friend she was travelling with flew to Italy as planned, while she dashed to Gatwick for a later flight \u2013 while at the same time someone was rushing to bring her her own passport.<\/p>\n
While she eventually made it to Italy, it meant husband Chris got to have the ultimate \u2018I told you so\u2019 moment.<\/p>\n
\u2018Before I left the house yesterday \u2026 my husband actually said \u201cDo you have the right passport?,\u201d\u2018 Amanda told Heart FM.<\/p>\n
\u2018And I said, \u201cDo you know what, stop treating me like one of the children!\u201d\u2018<\/p>\n
Amanda was then forced to humble herself by calling Chris and admitting, \u2018I\u2019ve got your passport.\u2019<\/p>\n
Chris got his own back later, as he called and joked: \u2018Can I still treat you like one of the children?\u2019<\/p>\n
And as Amanda put it: \u2018I just wanted to kill him that he was right.\u2019<\/p>\n

What makes it all the more frustrating for Amanda is that she\u2019s no stranger to flying and likely has a routine around packing down pat.<\/p>\n
The star has gone on multiple holidays this summer, both with her husband Chris and daughters Lexi, 17, and Hollie, 11.<\/p>\n
One trip saw the mum join both of her daughters as well as her sister Debbie in Italy as part of Amanda\u2019s filming for the popular renovation show The Italian Job.<\/p>\n
And while Amanda may be furious that Chris was right about the passport \u2013 and he gets to gloat over the fact \u2013 the couple are as loved-up as ever, with Amanda admitting she\u2019s looking forward to her kids moving out in the future so they can spend more time together.<\/p>\n
