Lifted off her upcoming album, Shake does what she does best on “Black Dress”: layering her distinct vocals atop an ethereal production to deliver a cohesive and captivating listening experience. “Even when it’s dark out \/ I still can see your bone structure \/ I can see the light in you \/ Even when it’s dark out,” she croons in the chorus.<\/p>\n
She tapped longtime collaborator Dave Hamelin to spearhead the visual storytelling for “Black Dress”, which sees Shake posted up with her parachute in a post-apocalyptic world.
