Daniel Craig looked very dashing indeed as he debuted a new look at the Clooney Foundation For Justice event on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n
The James Bond star and his actress wife Rachel Weisz were every inch a power couple as they held hands while posing for photos at the starry bash.<\/p>\n
Held for the second time this year, the Albie Awards are hosted by George Clooney and his wife Amal, named after Justice Albie Sachs, a\u00a0South African\u00a0lawyer and activist who was imprisoned and then exiled during the fight to end apartheid.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s event at the New York Public Library was packed with stars, with the guest list also including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and John Krasinski.<\/p>\n
Arriving with Dead Ringers star Rachel, the 007 icon, 55, proudly rocked a new hairdo.<\/p>\n
Sporting a smart double-breasted navy suit and bow tie, Daniel had a golden quiff, having also grown out his former grey locks.<\/p>\n

Only adding to his sophisticated ensemble, the movie star wore a pair of trendy wire-rimmed glasses.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, The Favourite actress Rachel, 53, looked chic in a black and silver floor-length gown.<\/p>\n
The Disobedient lead showed some chest with a plunging neckline, accessorising with silver jewellery and carrying her essentials in a rectangular clutch bag.<\/p>\n
She wore her brunette locks in simple waves and framed her face with a fringe.<\/p>\n

Rachel topped off her look by adding a pop of colour with pink lipstick.<\/p>\n
She and Daniel first met in 1994 while starring in a production of\u00a0Les Grandes Horizontales\u00a0at the National Theatre Studio in London.<\/p>\n
In 2010, their paths crossed again and they started dating after both being cast in the movie Dream House.<\/p>\n
Then in June 2011, they wed in an intimate ceremony with only four guests in attendance.<\/p>\n

Rachel has son Henry, 17, with ex-fiance Darren Aronofsky, and welcomed a baby girl with husband Daniel in September 2018.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The couple are famously private when it comes to their marriage, and neither has social media.<\/p>\n
In April this year, Rachel also ruled out working with Daniel on-screen again in order to protect their private life.<\/p>\n
Offering a rare insight into their family life in conversation with Willie Geist, Rachel began: \u2018I think we aren\u2019t going to at the moment.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I think we really love our private life as a life, as a family, and then we go to work separately,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n
\u2018If we\u2019re both doing something at the same time, it\u2019s probably less ideal.\u2019<\/p>\n
Elsewhere at the Clooney Foundation For Justice bash, the likes of Heidi Klum, Viola Davis, and Mary J. Blige brought the glamour.<\/p>\n
German-American model and television host Heidi, 50, looked ultra glam in a sequin-encrusted fitted gown, while everyone\u2019s favourite Family Affair hitmaker, 52, blinded cameras in a bedazzled jacket with fringe detail.<\/p>\n

Bringing some colour, Woman King actress Viola, 58, beamed as she posed in lilac.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the likes of Matt Damon, Cindy Crawford, and Nina Dobrev also had +1s and brought their partners along for the night.<\/p>\n
As for the main couple, the Clooneys arrived ready to turn the tables to honour those doing the work.<\/p>\n
Lebanese-British barrister Amal, 45, looked radiant in a white Versace dress, telling Vogue of the inspiration for her look: \u2018I actually had taken a sample from a simple beach dress that I have, and we worked from there.\u2019<\/p>\n

Of curating her looks herself rather than relying on a huge team, she added: \u2018It\u2019s fun. You can make your look an expression of your mood. But it definitely helps to have talented people like their team at Versace.\u2019<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Hollywood royalty George, 62 \u2013 who married Amal in 2014 \u2013 was very much a silver fox in a black tux and bow tie.<\/p>\n
