OLYMPIAN Greg Rutherford has been confirmed as just one of the famous faces taking to the Dancing On Ice rink for the 2024 series.<\/p>\n

The Sun last revealed\u00a0the 36-year-old would join the star-studded line-up\u00a0alongside boxing<\/span> legend\u00a0Ricky Hatton,\u00a0Coronation Street's\u00a0Claire Sweeney,\u00a0S Club 7\u00a0singer\u00a0Hannah Spearritt, and\u00a0Love Island\u00a0winner\u00a0Amber Davies.<\/p>\n

The dad of three famously joined the cast of\u00a0Strictly Come Dancing\u00a0back in 2016, where he danced with\u00a0pro dancer\u00a0Natalie Lowe.<\/p>\n

And now he\u2019s ready to try a new challenge and pop on his ice skates as the exciting ITV show gets under way in the new year.<\/p>\n

But when the Olympian isn\u2019t training for DOI, he\u2019s spending time at his stunning home \u2013 which features<\/span> a very impressive kitchen.<\/p>\n

The doting dad shared a peek as one of his brood, Daphne, crawled across the marble island in the centre of the room.<\/p>\n

The space features<\/span> chic panelled sage cupboards and plenty of room to rustle up delicious meals.<\/p>\n

Greg\u2019s kitchen-cum-diner also boasts a large white table and bookshelves to house their cooking<\/span> recipes<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the spacious home boasts a very large rustic lounge with a huge green sofa, patterned rattan rug and white walls.<\/p>\n

Greg and his partner Susie have made the space very homely, with keepsakes and ornaments dotted around, as well as a busy bookshelf.<\/p>\n

The Olympian has also added unique pieces of artwork to the walls around his home, including one of a seashell which sits above a pink<\/span> beanbag.<\/p>\n

And the kids\u2019 rooms are just as cosy and fun, with pops of colour everywhere.<\/p>\n

Greg shared a snap<\/span> of one of them, as he told his legion of fans that \u201cbedtimes don\u2019t always go smoothly.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the space, fans could see a white bunkbed, posters on the walls, toys galore, and fluffy grey carpets running throughout the space.<\/p>\n

His brood looked delighted as they played together in the spacious and airy room.<\/p>\n

Outdoors, Greg can keep fit to gear up for his time in the rink by using his alfresco gym.<\/p>\n

The star could be seen working out with his equipment in the garden, on a wooden patio area.<\/p>\n

After the news<\/span> of his DOI journey was announced, Greg\u00a0told his former Strictly co-star\u00a0Ed Balls\u00a0on GMB: "I think this is going to be a really different experience and one that's going to be quite exciting.<\/p>\n

"I like a challenge and I've realised over the last couple of years I haven't been training as much. I needed a reason to go out and do something again.<\/p>\n

"What I really want to do on the show is perform something that's never been done before.<\/p>\n

"I'm not going to be the best dancer in the world, but I'm relatively strong still.<\/p>\n

"Whoever I'm partnered with I want to throw them higher than they've ever been thrown or do a trick that's never been done before. That's my aim.<\/p>\n

"I'll go 100,000% on this. I'll try hard, I'm in no way expecting\u00a0to be good but I will work as hard as I can."<\/p>\n

Greg not only revealed to the nation he's on\u00a0Dancing On Ice\u00a0on Good Morning Britain – he used it as a way of breaking the news<\/span> to his children.<\/p>\n
