<\/p>\nBBC Breakfast star Carol Kirkwood set fans' pulses racing as she dazzled viewers in a low-cut floral dress to kick off the week.<\/p>\n
Carol made sure that all eyes were on her as she showed off her figure in the statement number.<\/p>\n

The dress featured a daringly low-cut neckline as she appeared to be embracing the surprisingly warmer temperatures the country has seen for the time of year.<\/p>\n
Her fans were quick to heap praise on the star as they insisted she had brightened up their morning. <\/p>\n
One fan said to the BBC regular: "Good morning Carol, looking gorgeous as always."<\/p>\n
Another penned: "Good Morning sexy!"<\/p>\n
A third gushed: "Good morning princess, looking beautiful and fabulous as always."<\/p>\n Before a fourth adoring fan added: "Always good to see you!"<\/p>\n Carol certainly made her mark as she was met with a further flurry of compliments.<\/p>\n It comes after the show's resident weather presenter announced a surprise career shake-up last week.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Carol enjoys a side hustle away from screens as an author.<\/p>\n The 61 year old has recently published her third book and now she will begin to nurture young talent as the judge of a children\u2019s writing competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n The popular weather presenter has been a mainstay on BBC Breakfast since 1997. But, more recently, Carol has branched out into writing, publishing Under a Green Moon in 2021, The Hotel on the Riviera in 2022, and\u00a0Secrets of Villa Amore this summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n She recently returned to the\u00a0BBC Breakfast\u00a0studio after an extended summer break, but now she\u2019s taking on another new role and putting her writing expertise to good use as the judge of a\u00a0Sussex-based writing competition for children.\u00a0<\/p>\n Children between the ages of seven and 16 can enter the competition by writing a short story with the theme \u201cDonald the Cat\u2019s Great Adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n Thrilled to be taking on this new role, Carol said: \u201cI\u2019m a firm believer in bringing out children\u2019s creativity and entering this competition is a great way for them to express themselves and show off their creative skills.\u201d<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/NINTCHDBPICT000850196574.jpg\")
