Chris Hemsworth’s\u00a0private Michelin-trained chef Sergio Perera revealed the Hollywood hunk’s diet on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The Spanish-born cook, who is a good friend of the Thor star’s wife Elsa Pataky, has worked with several movie stars over the years, including\u00a0Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio.<\/p>\n
For the last 10 years he has helped Chris, 40, bulk up or slimdown for various roles, and now he’s lifted the lid on his culinary secrets.<\/p>\n
‘Obviously the guy is a big boy. He requires a lot of protein for the body he has,’ Sergio told News.com.au.<\/p>\n
‘When it comes to building muscle he just keeps it very clean with of a lot of barbecuing \u2014 like meats and vegetables \u2014 and keeping it Mediterranean which involves a lot of olive oil.’<\/p>\n

‘One thing I did religiously with him, was every single day he would have one very large, hearty salad that consisted of raw and cooked vegetables, fermented products, nuts, seeds and a lot of good fats with a piece of steak or a big piece of fish.’<\/p>\n

He requires a lot of protein for the body he has,’ Sergio said<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Aussie actor received the shock diagnosis after taking a genetic test on the National Geographic documentary series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth last year.<\/p>\n The test revealed he has two copies of the gene APOE e4, which is linked to an increased risk of the debilitating disease.<\/p>\n Following the test, Chris made changes to his already extensive workout routines and now focuses more on his brain health.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It comes as Chris is in the midst of overhauling his life since he discovered he could be prone to Alzheimer’ s disease.
