If money was no object, would you go under the knife to change something about yourself that has always made you self-conscious?

Although the above question is hypothetical, the people mentioned below had no hesitation turning to surgery after striking gold by winning the lottery.

After the realisation of waking up in the mornings as millionaires hit, some went for bigger boobs and bums. Meanwhile, others used the extraordinary amount of cash to become trimmer.

‘The government thinks I’ve been dead since 2006 – they want me to prove I'm not'

    Jane Park

Ten years ago admin temp Jane Park became the youngest EuroMillions winner in history at the tender age of 17.

She later said she “hated” winning the prize but her lifestyle changed dramatically after going from earning £8-an-hour to having a cheeky million in the bank.

The Edinburgh lass said she was too young to win the lottery and is glad that you now have to be 18 to play. And speaking about the downsides to the Sunday People, she said: “I wish I had no money most days. I say to myself, ‘My life would be so much easier if I hadn’t won.’

“People look at me and think, ‘I wish I had her lifestyle, I wish I had her money.’ But they don’t realise the extent of my stress.”

As well as extravagant holidays, cars and clothes, Jane used her fortune to make changes to her body.

She said the “best things” she has ever bought was when she had a boob job to go from a 34B to a 36FF.

But plastic surgery almost killed her after a dangerous Brazilian butt lift went horribly wrong after she got sepsis. Thankfully she recovered and she had it redone in 2021.

The 27-year-old is now an influencer and makes money flaunting her dream body on racy subscription site OnlyFans.

    Callie Rogers

The youngest lottery winner in the UK meanwhile was Callie Rogers who was just 16 when £1.8million suddenly became hers.

She had been relying on £3.60 a week as a checkout girl and was living in a council estate in Cumbria with her foster parents.

Unsurprisingly, the out of control teenager, now 34, blew her fortune, including £300,000 on clothes and £250,000 on cocaine.

She also gave half a million to friends and family but she also spent thousands on boob jobs, just like Jane Park did.

And similar to Jane, she believes she was much too young for the wealth. She told Closer Magazine: “I was a local celeb and people would come up to me in pubs as if they were my best friend and I felt pressure to buy them all drinks. I didn't know who to trust.

“It was too much money for someone so young. Even if you say your life won't change, it does – and often not for the better. It nearly broke me, but thankfully, I'm now stronger.”

Her three boob jobs, shaved head and several tattoos make her now unrecognisable and the mum–of-four recently spoke of her desire to go university to become a nurse.

    Sarah Cockings

Sarah Cockings won a handsome £3million on the lottery in 2005 and even to this day she is stopped in the street by strangers who ask: “Are those the lottery boobs?”

That’s because the Tyneside stunner splashed out almost £10,000 for her two sisters Emma and Alex to have boobs jobs almost immediately after the lotto scoop.

She later had the same procedure herself after saying her chest was “wrecked by breastfeeding” after having three kids.

Sarah remembered: “Just after I won, I bought my two sisters boob jobs; everyone remembers that.

“But now – I’ve had one myself, because mine were wrecked by breastfeeding. It’s my two-year boob birthday. I love them!

“My eldest son is six, and he tells everyone I won the Lottery. He came home from school and said ‘I told my teacher you won the jackpot and she was laughing'.”

Despite the life-changing win, Sarah did end up splitting from her husband and she said the lotto win was somewhat to blame.

She told ChronicleLive: “I think we both got swept away with the fuss around the Lottery win. Now things have settled down and life is back to normal, we realised we're just not in love with each other any more.”

    Jim and Maureen Emerton

It has been 11 years since Jim and Maureen Emerton suddenly became filthy rich after being awarded £4.4million.

And the Nottinghamshire couple underwent perhaps the most dramatic surgery transformation out of any the British lotto winners after spending 40,000 on weight-loss procedures.

These included gastric bypass and skin removal surgery after they tipped the scales at 18 and 17 stone.

Jim, who used to work in a Toyota factory, told NottinghamshireLive : “I'd tried everything, I'd been everywhere. I'd tried jogging, swimming… everything, but none of it was working. We decided to spend some money and get it done properly. We had the gastric bypass.

“You can still eat, everything is normal, just the quantities have changed. Instead of having a huge roast dinner we have a little roast dinner instead. That's all that's changed.”

He is now a slim 11.5 stone and after winning the lottery he took an early retirement so he could spend quality time with his wife.
