Everyone knows Levi’s as a longtime expert in denim, but it was never expected that the clothing brand would dip into furniture. The latest from Levi’s sees the American company team up with The Visionary Lab and Vitra for a furniture exhibition entitled Icons Re\/Outfitted.<\/p>\n
The new collaborative endeavor sees The Visionary Lab enlist the help of fashion designers and artists to reimagine used chairs from the Swiss family-owned furniture company. Specifically, the project casts Vitra chairs in repurposed Levi’s denim \u2013 coming to life in several eye-catching constructions.\u00a0By working together, the crafty chairs further Levi’s emphasis on getting the best use out of denim alongside The Visionary Lab’s mission to shift waste practices by crafting new items.<\/p>\n

The chair exhibition is currently on display at Dutch Design Week, which runs through October 29.<\/p>\n
