Katie Price’s mum calls her boob job ‘ridiculous’<\/h3>\n

Amy Price, the mum of model Katie Price, had admitted her “disappointment” over the edits to her new book, The Last Word.<\/p>\n

Speaking to press including Express.co.uk, the 71-year-old addressed her ailing health and changes that were made to her writing.<\/p>\n

“When I first started writing it, I put everything in,” she started. “All my thoughts, all my emotions and things that I’ve never admitted to people before.<\/p>\n

“But a lot of it was edited… I was quite disappointed in that.<\/p>\n

“I argued with Harper Collins to keep everything in but I had to remove some parts for legal reasons, as they were protecting me.”<\/p>\n

Amy was diagnosed with the incurable lung condition pulmonary fibrosis in 2017.<\/p>\n

She added: “I think what it is, is when you know you’re close to dying, your mindset changes a bit. And then you start thinking about family.<\/p>\n

“It’s never been recorded, because I’ve never talked about it.<\/p>\n

“That’s what started it [the book]. But it was quite therapeutic in a way as well.”<\/p>\n

Amy also revealed that her husband Paul has been “her rock” as she battles her terminal illness.<\/p>\n

The book offers a deeply personal insight into her daughter’s life and how the impact of the limelight has affected her and those around her.<\/p>\n

Amy continued: “This book is my opportunity to tell the whole truth about my life, my family, and my eldest daughter Kate.<\/p>\n

“Battling terminal illness and fast-approaching death, I wanted to tell the truth about me and my family.<\/p>\n

“The Last Word has given me a chance to set the record straight once and for all, and to give readers a true insight into what it is like to support a family thrust into the limelight.”<\/p>\n

Amy is donating all royalties and proceeds from <\/i>The Last Word to charities Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital, and St Barnabas House Hospice, Worthing.<\/i><\/p>\n
