The Crown season six teased in Netflix trailer<\/h3>\n

Netflix’s hit historical drama The Crown has finally returned to screens with its eagerly-awaited sixth season.<\/p>\n

This final season will be divided into two as it explores the dramatized depictions of real-life events including the tragic 1997 death of Princess Diana (played by Elizabeth Debicki).<\/p>\n

While the latter part of the instalment will see Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s (Imelda Staunton) 2002 Golden Jubilee and the marriage of Prince Charles (Dominic West) and Camilla Parker Bowles (Olivia Williams) in 2005.<\/p>\n

In season three, Camilla was introduced as the center of a love triangle with the then-Prince of Wales and her husband, Andrew Parker Bowles (Andrew Buchan).<\/p>\n

Although the Royal family disapproved of this relationship, season four saw Camilla become a love rival to a young Princess Diana (Emma Corrin).<\/p>\n

During the series, the Queen was particularly against Charles\u2019 infatuation with Camilla which continued after he and Diana relocated to their Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.<\/p>\n

However, after a highly publicized dispute season five saw the Queen writing a letter to both Charles and Diana, requesting the termination of their marriage.<\/p>\n

She stated: \u201cA termination of your marriage is not only inevitable, but preferable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following Diana\u2019s death in 1997, Charles and Camilla tied the knot with a grand ceremony in 2005.<\/p>\n

How long did it take for Queen Elizabeth to accept Camilla?\u00a0<\/h3>\n

Speaking exclusively to Daily Express, author of Queen Victoria’s Descendants and historical expert Marlene Koenig stated: \u201cThat is something we don\u2019t know for sure.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the Queen and the Royal family learned a lot about how to handle relationships with the failure of Charles and Diana\u2019s marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cCamilla would not have been what was considered \u2018suitable\u2019 for a Royal bride because she wasn\u2019t a virgin and neither was Charles.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marlene continued: \u201cThat said, you had Charles marry Diana, who was a virgin \u2026 I think the real issue was not Camilla herself.<\/p>\n
