After revealing a special Endeavour time-teller starring a Chinese Calendar complication, H. Moser & Cie. recently announced its latest Streamliner model at Dubai Watch Week: the new Streamliner Small Seconds Blue Enamel.

Amalgamating performance and craftsmanship, the new timepiece isn’t merely a time-keeping device, but also an objet d’art. Housed in a 39mm watch case made of steel, it spotlights a ravishing, aqua blue fumé and Grand Feu enamel dial that’s accentuated with a hammered texture. Adorning the tantalizing watch face are minimalistic steel appliqué indices, a lume-filled handset, and a lacquered small seconds subdial that’s slightly offset at the 6 o’clock mark.

Running at the heart of the timepiece is the newly improved and partially skeletonized HMC 500 caliber. Fully manufactured in-house, the movement is the smallest of its kind from the Maison, measuring 30mm in diameter, and 4.5mm in thickness. H. Moser’s CEO, Edouard Meylan explained that they wanted to have a very slim caliber that boasts high performance, “ We then spent a great deal of time working to optimize the dimensions, which is why we decided to integrate a micro-rotor for the first time in our history.” The movement is fitted with a solid platinum micro-rotor mounted on a ball bearing, where its bi-directional pawl winding system ensures sufficient barrel torque, allowing the timepiece to run continuously for up to 74 hours when fully wound.

Just like all Streamliner models, the new reference comes complete with an integrated steel bracelet that seamlessly adheres to the elegant curves and proportions of its case. The Streamliner Small Seconds Blue Enamel is retailed for $32,900 USD and is open for inquiry via H. Moser’s official website.
