<\/p>\nA TOP Channel 4 star has revealed the "real reason" he rejected a big money offer to star on I'm A Celeb.<\/p>\n
The presenter, 52, admitted he was "asked if he was interested" in the critter-filled series during a candid chat on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain.<\/p>\n

Dave Fishwick, star of Channel 4 show Bank Of Dave, told hosts Susanna Reid, 52, and Richard Madeley, 67, why he wasn't in camp this time around.<\/p>\n
Richard said he "knew" that Burnley man Dave had been inundated with offers for the show, before the people's banking champion admitted: "I was asked if I was interested and it sounds a wonderful, wonderful programme.<\/p>\n
"And being with Nigel Farage might have been fun!"<\/p>\n
Richard said: "I can see you two knocking sparks off each other."<\/p>\n
Dave stunned the panel as he continued: "He does ring me occasionally.<\/p>\n "The thing is if Nigel gets de-programmed, not de-banked, I could go in instead."<\/p>\n He was referring to the former Ukip leader being blocked from his Coutts bank account earlier this year. <\/p>\n The snobs\u2019 bank,\u00a0Coutts, closed his account\u00a0because it said \u201chis views do not align with our values\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The former MEP then branded the subsequent \u00a32.4million payout for the de-banking boss as a "sick joke."<\/p>\n Bringing the chat back to his potential I'm A Celeb role, Dave added he was "so so busy" – with his hectic schedule not allowing him to star.<\/p>\n He added: "We are about to start filming Bank of Dave Two, which is a sequel."<\/p>\n The banking guru grew up in a house\u00a0so ramshackle it had to be demolished, and he left school without any money or qualifications.<\/p>\n Dave is an inspirational figure for many though, and his story is worth reading for those who might not have got the GCSE grades they wanted today.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The multi-millionaire, who has multiple Ferraris and classic cars, left school with no qualifications.<\/p>\n He founded his own minibus sales company and is now the UK's biggest supplier of new and used minibuses, mini-coaches and wheelchair accessible vehicles.<\/p>\n In 2011 Dave set up Burnley Savings And Loans, a private lending company which became the subject of the Channel 4 series Bank Of Dave.<\/p>\n At the time, he vowed: \u201cMy bank may be tiny but it will be better than a High Street bank."<\/p>\n Yet some This Morning fans previously took aim at Dave, branding him a "budget Martin Lewis."<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/newspress-collage-8ug98sh7s-1700611788599.jpg\")
