NETFLIX is reportedly working on producing several spin-off shows for its successful teen horror series Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After a successful first season, the streaming giant plans to expand into the individual lives of the Addams family members.<\/p>\n

Bloomberg has reported that Netflix plans to bring to screens the lives of the different family members in the teen drama Wednesday, starting with a solo season for former Saturday Night Live star Fred Armisen's character, the loveable but kooky uncle Fester.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The show, which Scream star Jenna Ortega fronts as main character Wednesday, gained huge viewership ratings after its release last year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to the news outlet, a Fester spin-off is in the very early stages of discussion, with talent and storyline still yet to be determined. <\/p>\n
Therefore, such a series might not make it past the development stages.<\/p>\n
Reports of the streaming giant producing a spin-off series came after they confirmed on X(Twitter) that the popular show would get a second season in January this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Co-showrunners Miles Millar and Alfred Gough told Tudum at the time of the announcement: \u201cWe can't wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the kooky, spooky world of Nevermore.\u201d<\/p>\n
Production for the second season of the show will commence in\u00a0 2024.<\/p>\n

Recently, Netflix also revealed that they will be relocating the show's production base from Romania to Ireland for its second instalment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
