Chris Hemsworth’s private Michelin-trained chef Sergio Perera revealed the Hollywood hunk’s diet on Wednesday.

The Spanish-born cook, who is a good friend of the Thor star’s wife Elsa Pataky, has worked with several movie stars over the years, including Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio.

For the last 10 years he has helped Chris, 40, bulk up or slimdown for various roles, and now he’s lifted the lid on his culinary secrets.

‘Obviously the guy is a big boy. He requires a lot of protein for the body he has,’ Sergio told News.com.au.

‘When it comes to building muscle he just keeps it very clean with of a lot of barbecuing — like meats and vegetables — and keeping it Mediterranean which involves a lot of olive oil.’

‘One thing I did religiously with him, was every single day he would have one very large, hearty salad that consisted of raw and cooked vegetables, fermented products, nuts, seeds and a lot of good fats with a piece of steak or a big piece of fish.’

Sergio went on to say Chris’ diet for Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game usually started with a huge green smoothie in the morning, packed with leafy greens, fruits, nuts, seeds, fats and sea salt.

He would then consume a protein snack of yoghurt mixed with fresh berries, chia seeds, almonds and honey, or eggs on wholegrain toast with Vegemite and avocado.

After a hard workout, Chris would then fuel up with a post-workout shake filled with vegetable protein, ice water, BCAAs and 1g of vitamin C.

His red meat intake came early in the afternoon with an 8oz (225gm) eye fillet and vegetables, which he would eat again just a few hours later.

Chris’ last meal of the day was always at 7pm with a big salad, white fish and roasted vegetables.

It comes as Chris is in the midst of overhauling his life since he discovered he could be prone to Alzheimer’s disease.

The Aussie actor received the shock diagnosis after taking a genetic test on the National Geographic documentary series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth last year.

The test revealed he has two copies of the gene APOE e4, which is linked to an increased risk of the debilitating disease.

Following the test, Chris made changes to his already extensive workout routines and now focuses more on his brain health.
