The news comes after Jane recently opened up about being single two years after the death of her fiance Eddie Rothe who sadly died after a battle with lung cancer in 2021.

The Channel 5 star has now insisted she is “not bothered” about finding love again, and has instead been relying on the support of her female friends after Eddie’s death.

Jane told MailOnline: “I’m not bothered. I’m really not. I don’t feel like I need someone in my life to make it fulfilled.”

Ahead of the debut episode of her new Channel 5 travel series, Lost in Japan, the singer spilled on how her close pals have helped her to cope with her grief.

She added: “We have a coping mechanism. I have a great group of girlfriends now, who are all in the same situation, we have a great time, we go out, we have dinner, drinks, parties round each others’ houses.

“We’re all in the same boat and it’s lovely to know that there’s someone there that you can call at three o’clock in the morning and say, ‘I’m having a bad day.’

“I don’t feel like I need anyone,” Jane admitted.

The couple had known each other since they were just teenagers but went on to reconnect later in life.

She was previously married to Henrik Brixen from 1998 to 2003.
