Multi-platinum country hitmaker Justin Moore recently released a personal new single “This Is My Dirt” via The Valory Music Co.
The opening track from Moore’s upcoming album was written by the Arkansas native alongside Paul DiGiovanni, Randy Montana, and Jeremy Stover, who also produced with Scott Borchetta.
“‘This Is My Dirt’ is a song not only about how you grew up, but more specifically, where you grew up, and in particular, where I grew up,” said Moore. “The land that I live on – and the land am raising my children on — is the same land that I grew up on. My mom was raised on this land, and it has been in our family since the late 1800s. My great, great grandfather raised my grandfather here. My grandpa inherited the land from him, and then I inherited it from my grandpa.”
He continued, “So, it’s really special to us, for obvious reasons. But, no matter where you grew up, I think everybody holds a special place in their heart for that place — whether it’s a subdivision or thousands of acres. This song is about taking pride in wherever it is that you call ‘your dirt.'”
“This Is My Dirt “follows in the footsteps of Moore’s 12th chart-topping hit, “You, Me, And Whiskey” with Priscilla Block as well as new RIAA platinum certifications for No. 1 hits “We Didn’t Have Much” and “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home.”
Moore has select headline dates on the horizon, including his first New Year’s Eve show in nearly a decade. He will also directly support Cody Johnson‘s “The Leather Tour,” which has already sold out in many markets. For tickets, visit JustinMooreMusic.com.
