Kourtney Kardashian gives pregnancy updater after surgery to save unborn babys life

Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian has shared a selection of new bump snaps, after she was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery to save her unborn child's life.

The 44 year old reality star, who is expecting a baby boy with her Blink 182 drummer husband Travis Barker, 47, looked stunning in the images.

She could be seen sitting on a chair as she rocked her favourite edgy style in shiny leather trousers and a matching jacket worn over a lacy crop top.

Kourtney placed gloved hands on her blossoming bump as she stared off into the distance in one shot and threw her head back in another.

In the caption the star, who is already mum to three children with ex Scott Disick, wrote: "Pregnancy is so empowering."

Travis' 17 year old daughter Alabama Barker gave the snaps her seal of approval as she commented: "Hot mama !"

Another person wrote: "I’m empowered by Kourtney," whilst a third said: "And you make it look GOOD."

Kourtney's latest post came just a few days after she revealed that she'd been rushed to hospital for "urgent fetal surgery".

Last Friday her husband Travis was forced to return home to America on an "urgent family matter", which Kourtney then shed light on.

Posting to Instagram, Kourtney said of the scary incident: "I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life.

"I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock."

She also made a special mention to her mum, Kris Jenner, as she wrote: "And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this."

The post was accompanied by a black and white picture of Travis' and Kourtney's hands while she was hooked up to a hospital drip

In the post, she continued: "As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.

"I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear.

"I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant."

And it finished: "Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing."

Travis commented saying: "God is great," with some prayer hand emojis, whilst Kourtney's mum Kris Jenner wrote: "Praise be to God."
