Maya Jama and Stormzy look loved-up on date night before rapper gets parking fine

TV presenter Maya Jama, 29, and her rapper beau, Stormzy, looked loved-up during a date night on Saturday, 21st October, that unfortunately led to a parking ticket.

The couple beamed and held hands while leaving London's Humo restaurant after recently confirming they are back together – delighting fans with their reconciliation.

However, Stormzy had to pay for more than just his meal, after returning back to find his Rolls Royce slapped with an £80 fine for parking on a double yellow line.

The 30-year-old appeared to be trying to keep a low profile, as he dressed in an all-black outfit and trench coat, hiding his face behind a baseball cap.

Meanwhile, Love Island host Maya, matched him as she also opted to wear a chic all-black outfit.

The star flashed her toned midriff in a roll-neck crop top, with wide-leg trousers and sleek stilettos, while keeping warm in a long fur coat.

The pair were all smiles on their romantic date night despite returning to discover a bright yellow parking notice issued on Stormzy’s vehicle.

Stormzy and Maya split back in 2019 after four years together but recently confirmed that they have rekindled their relationship.

He was reportedly encouraged to win her back by the other significant lady in his life, his mum Abigail Owuo.

A recent grand romantic gesture saw the rapper fly Maya out in a private helicopter to Hydra Island, where the pair stayed in a private villa with a private chef and spectacular views overlooking the sparkling Aegean Sea.

After meeting in 2014, Maya admitted that she "fancied him from the start."

They became a popular power couple, with Stormzy regularly declaring his love for her in his music.

"We were so young when we met, just beginning our careers," Maya told The Sunday Times in January. "I was starting at MTV. He’d not even released a single at that point. We were just little babies."

After their split, Stormzy always denied that he ever cheated but did admit to disrespecting Maya and their relationship.

Last year, the Croydon-born star opened up to the BBC’s Louis Theroux, accepting responsibility for his "mistakes".

"I didn’t do what a man should do to fully appreciate, love, and care for his woman," he said. "I learnt from that, and OK, if I don’t ever want to feel like that again, and I feel like God will bless me with an amazing woman and a family and marriage and all of that, I have to do all of the necessary work to never be in that situation again."
