Houseplant is continuing its venture into the music space. The third iteration in the trilogy, the Vinyl Box Set Vol. 3 offers a customizable listening experience across its three LPs; equipped with three aptly named playlists, Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid, the Houseplant-curated compilation of music is the versatile background music needed to set any vibe.
The Vinyl Box Set Vol. 3 boasts a total of 101 minutes of music, featuring an array of genres spanning R&B, reggae, hip hop and jazz. Sonically spearheaded by self-certified “vibe-curation experts” Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the offering is minimal yet elevated in its design as well. All three vinyl are housed in a heavyweight slipcase, with each individual LP seeing its own semi-gloss jacket and adorned inner sleeve.

Rogen and Goldberg describe the curation process as “meticulous”, in a statement on Houseplant’s site. “We send us around a hundred songs and work our way through them, listening several times over to ensure they’re worthy of being forged into vinyl. Once we narrow it down to the number of songs we need for the latest vinyl, we hunker down together and deduce the best order to put the songs in.”
While the Vinyl Box Set triage is now complete, there may be more on the way. “We may want to go full franchise and release like ten of them,” the duo shared in an Instagram caption.
The Vinyl Box Set Vol. 3 retails for $95 USD and is now live to purchase on Houseplant’s website.
Elsewhere in design, a pair of Frank Lloyd Wright houses is now on the market.
