Kourtney Kardashian has released an emotional statement detailing a hospital dash to save her baby’s life.
The reality star had a scary experience, which led to Travis Barker flying home from a Blink-182 tour to be by her side.
‘I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our babies life,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock.’
Blink-182 were forced to postpone their tour, announcing that their drummer, 47, had to rush home from Glasgow.
A statement on the band’s Twitter page read: ‘Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States.’
Kris Jenner, 67, was also there to support Kourtney, 44, as she coped with the medical emergency.
A grateful Kourtney wrote: ‘And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.’
Kourtney, who is already mum to her three children with former partner Scott Disick – Mason, 13, Penelope, 11 and eight-year-old Reign, added: ‘As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.
‘I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.
‘Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing. 🙏🏼🤍’
Travis commented under the photo: ‘God is great’.
