Nicole Kidman and Cara Delevingne provide hilarious reactions at starry US Open

It was a truly star-studded affair at the US Open on Saturday, as a slew of Hollywood’s finest female power players, including Nicole Kidman and Diane Keaton, watched the women’s final.

The VIP box was stuffed full with the likes of Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose, model and actress Cara Delevingne and Marvelous Mrs Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan.

All looked on while a truly epic match played out in front of them, which saw American teen Coco Gauff produce a stunning comeback to beat Aryna Sabalenka.

A first Grand Slam victory for the 19-year-old, Coco beat the second seed 2-6 6-3 6-2 in front of a delighted home crowd, becoming the first US teenager to win a women’s singles Grand Slam title this century.

She also follows in the footsteps of greats as the first to do so since Serena Williams at the US Open in 1999.

The celebrities were giving us all of the reactions as they watched the nail-biting match, especially Mamma Mia star Amanda Seyfried, 37, who was captured front row in the box with her hands gesturing in the air as well as out of her seat in delight at one point.

She also held them up to her head in another incredible wide-eyed reaction while chatting with seatmate Rachel Brosnahan, 33.

Nicole Kidman, 56, was snapped looking pretty in pale pink as she watched the action unfold from her seat, soaking up the tension with a serious expression – although she did later break it to give an enthusiastic ‘OK’ sign with both of her hands as she beamed.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Cara Delevingne was having a grand time further back in the box, messing around for photos with Ariana DeBose, 32, who she then pulled onto her lap as they both laughed.

On her other side was US writer and TV star Mindy Kaling, 44, who smiled along while dressed in a smart white and blue striped shirt, with Ariana resting her head on her shoulder.

Hollywood icon Diane Keaton was also in attendance, giving a big wave from the side of the box as the 77-year-old pulled a mock grimace for the camera while enjoying a drink with Ariana.

She was, naturally, dressed in one of her trademark hats, paired with a vibrant black and white shirt, a statement belt and chinos.

Going slightly more incognito was Charlize Theron, who stat engrossed in the game directly in front of Netflix’s Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline.

Accompanied by her mother Gerda Maritz, the 48-year-old actress listened along to the match commentary courtesy of an earpiece, cutting a more casual figure in a Dior T-shirt and khaki pleated skirt.
