Sharon Osbourne, 70, goes 3 days a week without eating amid drastic weight loss

Sharon Osbourne has claimed she goes three days a week without eating.

The 70-year-old former X Factor judge has made headlines in recent weeks after revealing she’d lost weight with the help of the drug Ozempic.

This week, Sharon, who is married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne, confessed she goes days at a time without food.

The star made the comment while in conversation with her kids, son Jack and daughter Kelly Osbourne.

Speaking in an exclusive clip of their family audio show, The Osbournes Podcast, shared with MailOnline, the group noted the world would ‘descend into chaos’ if people were forced to go without nine meals in a row.

Jack, 37, said: ‘If you have something that someone wants, they’ll kill you for it. You know how far away we are as a society from complete and utter breakdowns? Nine meals.

‘When you break it down, you are nine meals away from complete and utter breakdown. That’s three days of breakfast, lunch and dinner. That goes away for people, they go three days without eating, they will murder each other, their neighbours, everything.’

It was then that Sharon noted: ‘God, I do that every week. At least three days without eating.’

Their guest Jason Kennedy then quipped: ‘That’s called intermittent fasting.’

Earlier this month, Sharon admitted she believes she’s lost too much weight.

She’s been open about her noticeable weight loss in recent months but has now said she’s been questioning how far she’s gone.

Appearing with her family, including Jack and Kelly, on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Sharon made a brief comment on her weight.

Showing her trimmed-down figure on the show, Sharon admitted: ‘It’s just time to stop, I didn’t actually want to go this thin, but it just happened.

‘I’ll probably put it all on again soon!’ she added.

Her comments came after Sharon spoke about using Ozempic, which is offered as a treatment for people with type 2 diabetes but which some have been using to lose weight, in order to achieve her new figure.

In an interview earlier this year, Sharon revealed she’d shed 30 pounds (two stone) thanks to the drug.

Drugs such as Ozempic and the prescription medication Wegovy have controversially come to the forefront of public consciousness after some celebrities and influencers have pushed it as a ‘quick and easy’ way to lose a few pounds.

However, these drugs are meant to only be used for people with diabetes, with a shortage now being sparked by others trying to secure a supply.

Sharon’s reps declined to comment when approached by Metro.co.uk.
