Taylor Swift has been spotted next to Tavis Kelce’s mum enjoying a Kansas City Chiefs game as rumours swirl about a possible romance between the pair.
The chart-topping music icon, 33, was spotted taking in the game between Travis’s Chiefs side, where he plays as tight end, and the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
Cruel Summer chart-topper Taylor, who has also been spotted out with Sophie Turner in recent days, was in fact in the football player’s suite as the Kansas City, Missouri stadium – and alongside Travis’s mum Donna, no less.
The duo were seen following all the action by broadcasters airing the game, with clips making it onto social media and spreading very quickly.
In pictures, they cheered and clapped together, with Taylor at one point leaning over to grasp a fellow pal of Travis’s hands as they shared a laugh together.
Travis’s mother was – of course – wearing her son’s number 87 shirt, while popstar Taylor was suitably attired in a white button-up tank top over which she wore a Chiefs red and white bomber jacket.
Broadcaster’s couldn’t help speculating either, with Fox Sports commentators confirming that Taylor was there ‘whatever that means’ as the cameras panned to show her at the game.
When Travis scored a touchdown during the Chiefs’ display of dominance, Taylor was also captured celebrating gleefully, jumping up and down and yelling, ‘Let’s f**king go!’
Although she hasn’t addressed speculation surrounding a possible relationship, Travis, also 33, has made public plays for VMAs reigning queen Taylor previously – including trying to get his phone number to her on a handmade friendship bracelet during her Eras tour.
On Thursday, the two-time Super Bowl champion did, however, confirm that he and Taylor were in touch and that he had invited her to a game.
‘That’s life, baby,’ responded Travis when asked about whether he is frustrated by the rumours on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday.
‘I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court and I told her “I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead (Stadium), you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.” We’ll see what happens in the near future.’
When asked about his love life more generally, Travis responded: ‘It’s hilarious how much traction this has actually got.
‘Right now, it’s like an old game in school called ‘Telephone’ where everybody is whispering in each other’s ears and hearing random stuff and no one actually knows what’s going on.’
He went on to add: ‘Everybody thinks he is the Ian Rapoport of my dating relationships, please everybody, stop asking my brother about my love life.’
Travis, who once looked for love on reality series Catching Kelce, previously opened up on his romantic history and relationship style, saying that he is ‘out the door’ if anyone shows signs of being high maintenance.
‘You’ve got to have some sort of sweetness to you. If you’re arrogant or snooty or high or above people, that’s the biggest turn-off for me,’ he told host Kristin Cavallari on the Let’s Be Honest podcast.
He also shared that he ‘100%’ wants to start a family, following in his brother Jason’s footsteps, who just welcomed his third child with wife Kylie McDevitt.
‘I like to believe that all of that stuff will come genuine and natural, and I won’t have to think about getting into that part of my life ahead of time, the stars will align, I guess?
‘That’s what I’m banking on.’
