PRIME Day doesn't official kick off until tomorrow – but Amazon has stunned us with a wave of early-bird deals on its smart devices.
That includes a huge 48% price cut on the Fire 7 Kids tablet, which has fallen from £114.99 to £59.99.

Amazon's second Prime Day sale starts in a matter of hours, running from Tuesday 10th to Wednesday 11th October.
During the two-day sale, we'll see literally thousands upon thousands of products get their prices slashed for Amazon Prime subscribers.
But days ahead of the sale, Amazon released a series of discounts across devices including Echo Dot speakers, Fire TV streaming sticks, Ring video doorbells, Blink cameras and, yes, its range of Fire tablets.

And at the time of writing, they're available for everyone, not just Prime members.
Every last tablet in the Fire range has been reduced in price, but we took a quick look at the best-selling devices page and it's the 7-inch Kids tablet that's proved the biggest hit with shoppers.
Described by one reviewer as a 'car journey's dream', the Fire 7 Kids is the most affordable of Amazon's line of tablets, which are aimed at kids aged 3 to 7.
The full price of £114.99 might be a bit steep for many buyers who are already thinking of their Christmas shopping lists.

But the sale price of £59.99 is a far stronger offer on a device that also comes with a year-long Amazon Kids+ subscription (TV, films, games, apps).
Amazon's kids tablets are also designed with colourful, bold, ruggedised casing, so they can withstand all those bumps and knocks that gadgets endure in the hands of kids.
They also come with parental locks and time limits, so little ones don't get too much screen time.
It remains to be seen whether Amazon improves upon this price when the Black Friday sales start at the end of next month.
After all Amazon has clearly scheduled this second Prime 'Big Deals' Day sale in order to snatch up the spending money that bargain-hunters out there would normally reserve for the late-November sale.
Whether you pick up this almost-half-price tablet now or wait until Black Friday is down to you. (Of course, you might have a really long car journey with the family before then.)
