If you think about creating a smokey eye look, it's easy to feel instantly overwhelmed – sometimes all you can think about is the amount of steps required to achieve a decent result.
But Hannah Martin is the queen of radiant skin and smoky eye tutorials, and she can help. The brilliant British makeup artist recently took toInstagramto share with her audience of 357k a simple 3-step eye routine that will make your smokey look flawless, and it's easy to do.
All you need to use is 3 products – a soft eye pencil that will act as the primary base, a single eye shadow that will intensify the colour pay off and lots and lots of mascara!
Hannah's beauty line up is quite high-end, however we are confident that similar results can be achieved with less expensive but still high-performing products – so we found 3 alternatives under £10 that will help you replicate this 3-steps smokey eye routine to a T.
Step 1 – Use a soft eye pencil on your upper and lower lid as a base. You don't need to be super precise, just put it on there and blend it with a brush or, why not, with your fingers.
