Abi Webster (Sally Carman) got quite the shock in Coronation Street when she found a stray mascara in the bathroom that she shares with husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell) that certainly didn’t belong to her.
Horrified, she confronted a shocked Kevin and asked who the offending make up product belonged to, leaving Kevin in a bit of a predicament.
It turned out that the mascara actually belonged to Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), though Kevin couldn’t outwardly say that with Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) around.
Thankfully, Tyrone soon headed off, and Kevin was able to come clean and melt the frosty atmosphere between him and Abi.
He explained how Cassie had got really drunk the night before and he’d offered her a place to stay for the night, as she didn’t want Tyrone to see her in such a state.

Tyrone has been concerned for his mother due to her drug addiction, and she didn’t want to give him anything else to worry about.
Though Abi didn’t think it was a good idea to keep secrets from Tyrone, she was clearly relieved that Kevin hadn’t cheated on her.
She made it clear that he should feel lucky she had mellowed, as several years ago she would have ‘shot first and asked questions later’.
Meanwhile, Tyrone was still totally in the dark about Cassie’s whereabouts the previous night.
She had convinced him that she had met up with a friend and stayed with them, but Tyrone was still unaware of how messy it had got.
Will he ever find out, and how will he react to Kevin’s secrecy?
