Fans of BBC Breakfast were given a rather pleasant surprise during the latest episode, as journalist Luxmy Gopal presented the show alongside co-host, Jon Kay.
On Wednesday morning's instalment of the popular news programme, regular presenter Sally Nugent was nowhere to be seen as she was replaced by Luxmy. But despite the evident change, fans didn't seem to be too disappointed as they were more than happy to see Luxmy grace their screens.
Heading over to X formerly known as Twitter, fans said Sally's replacement was warming up their cold morning. One fan wrote: Cold out! Here in #UK we have #BBCBreakfast with gorgeous LuxmyGopal to warm the cockles."
Another said: After a long, cold night shift, fantastic to get home to a warm house and the lovely smile of @luxmy_g on @BBCBreakfast. Here all week Luxmy?
A third chimed: "Well what a great way to start Wednesday to see @luxmy_g presenting on @BBCBreakfast." While another echoed: "How marvellous to see @luxmy_g on @BBCBreakfast this AM."
