EastEnders Danielle Harold oozes glamour in plunging white suit as she scoops Best Actress award

EastEnders star Danielle Harold oozed glamour as she scooped up the award for Best Actress on Monday night for her role as Lola Pearce.

Danielle, 31, has continued to receive huge praise over her portrayal of Lola on the hit BBC soap after her character battled brain cancer in heartwrenching scenes. The soap star left EastEnders in May after Lola tragically passed away, with the role raising awareness of cancer and the signs of brain tumours.

Since leaving the soap, Danielle has won a string of awards and on Monday, September 25 scooped up another at Inside Soap Awards 2023. Beaming with her well-deserved Best Actress and EastEnders Best Storyline awards, Danielle looked sensational in a plunging white suit.

For the glitzy event, the 31 year old donned high-waist, wide-leg white trousers with an oversized suit jacket with pearl detailing underneath a matching white crop top that showed off her toned stomach. Her long blonde locks were styled down in beach waves with the front section of her hair in a middle parting behind her ears.

Danielle opted for dark smokey eyes for a dramatic and full coverage make-up look while completing it with a statement red lip. For extra glam, she wore diamond earrings and bright red nails to match her already stunning look.

The star was later joined by her EastEnders co-stars, Max Bowden, Jamie Borthwick and Emma Barton on the red carpet as they took home a flurry of awards. Max who plays the role of Ben Mitchell won Soap Superstar of the Year, while EastEnders also took home the gong for Best Soap.

While Lola's on-screen husband Jay Brown had a powerful grief storyline that secured actor Jamie the award for Best Actor. Isabella Brown was also given Best Young Performer as Lola's daughter Lexi Pearce, and EastEnders writers were awarded Best Storyline for the harrowing plot.

"The beautifully played story of young mum Lola’s cancer diagnosis, and her final few life-affirming months, captivated Inside Soap readers this year, and won out against powerful work from all the other shows," Inside Soap mag editor Gary Gillatt shared. "And the Best Soap win is well-deserved

"It’s been a golden year for EastEnders – a true renaissance."

Danielle has been enjoying attending awards bashes with fellow celebrities since her EastEnders exit, and at the TRIC Awards in June opened up about her future career plans and how she's been spending her time away from Albert Square.

She told OK!: "I'm just taking it all in at the moment," before adding: "I've not left too long ago, I've gone to award shows and stuff, so it's just been quite nice lately, I'm enjoying it."

The soap star has been sure to keep her fans updated as she's posted regularly on Instagram with glam snaps, nights out in London and time spent with loved ones. She also hinted that she could be jetting off too, after she recently told fans she's in need of a sun-soaked holiday following her hectic year.
