Good Morning Britain stand-in presenter Duncan James has recalled his “random” encounter with Britney Spears.
The hit ITV show returned for another instalment on Tuesday (October 24) with Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley back at the helm. Joining the hosts was stand-in entertainment editor and Blue superstar Duncan.
One of the hot topics was Britney Spears, following the release of her hotly-anticipated memoir. The tell-all book had already been making headlines after teaser excerpts came with a number of a bombshell revelations.

On GMB, Richard said: “Most of us here have interviewed her." He then turned to Duncan and added: “You had a moment with her?”
The pop star explained: “We did have a random moment. So she did a movie, Crossroads, and me and the boys [Blue] got invited to the afterparty, and it was in this club.”
He went on: “And there was this VIP room where Britney was. It was a really random room, because there was this huge bed in the middle of the room.

“And Britney was there and we got asked in to meet Britney and we said hello to her. And she asked us ‘Do you want to jump on the bed?’”
Looking stumped, Duncan added: “And we were like, ok! So next minute, all four of us and Britney were jumping around on the bed. It was the most surreal thing ever.”
Britney's book details everything from her three-year romance with Justin Timberlake to her heartbreaking revelation that she had a secret abortion when she was 19 because Justin "wasn't ready to be a father." She also admitted she cheated on the NSYNC band member with her dancer.
It's not the only romance she writes about, Britney also describes her passionate fling with actor Colin Farrell after her split from Justin. She called their short-lived relationship a "two-week brawl" as she claimed they were "all over each other".
