Im a relationship expert – heres wholl split on MAFS and why

Since Married At First Sight UK burst back onto our screens last week, we've watched a number of strangers make the ultimate commitment and say "I do" at the altar.

So far we've seen Rosaline and Thomas, Nathanial and Ella, Laura and Arthur, Jay and Luke, Georges and Peggy, Tasha and Paul, Brad and Shona and Terence and Porscha all tie the knot. While some couples were over the moon with their partner as matched by the experts, others encountered some rather awkward moments and even quit the show early after a fiery row broke out on their honeymoon.

As things heat up between the newlyweds, Louella Alderson – founder of the personality type dating app So Syncd, spoke exclusively to OK! to lift the lid on what couples will split and why. But there isn't just one stand out couple, as Louella has argued that three couples are already on the rocks.

Nathaniel and Ella

While Nathaniel quit the show early as he claimed he was "manipulated" by producers, relationship expert, Louella said the couple were the "least compatible". Explaining this, she said: "Nathaniel values authenticity, and he felt that Ella wasn't being genuine.

"He perceived her actions as exaggerated for the cameras, causing tension between them. Since then, they have been struggling to find common ground and connect emotionally.

"It appears that their journey may be filled with obstacles, as they are two individuals who seem to have difficulty understanding each other. I think Nathaniel and Ella will be the first couple to split up." It is currently unclear when Nathaniel left the Channel 4 show and if their journey continues.

Terence and Porcha

On Monday night this week, we watched Terence and Porcha tie the knot, although their honeymoon didn't go too smoothly. So much so that the relationship expert believes they will also "break up", despite the fact their wedding "exceeded expectations, as they shared a surprising physical chemistry".

Louella said: "However, their relationship may face challenges due to different personalities and priorities.

"Porcha's high expectations may clash with Terence's easy-going nature. Additionally, Terence's love for partying and DJing contrasts with Porcha's preference for a quiet home life without alcohol.

"The potential conflict between their lifestyles poses an interesting hurdle for them to overcome."

Georges and Peggy

The third couple in for a rocky romance, according to Louella, is Georges and Peggy who tied the knot last week. The pair "initially had a strong attraction, but there have been some concerning signs from Georges", the expert explains.

Continuing she said: "He has displayed arrogance, shallowness, and disrespect, raising red flags.

"While he claims to possess different sides to his personality, the ones shown so far have been quite unlikeable. In contrast, Peggy appears genuine and it really feels like she’s looking for love.

"However, she has expressed valid concerns about Georges' behaviour already and its potential impact on their relationship in the long term. It will require effort and open communication to navigate the challenges ahead and determine if their connection can withstand the test of time."
