OLYMPIAN Greg Rutherford has been confirmed as just one of the famous faces taking to the Dancing On Ice rink for the 2024 series.

The Sun last revealed the 36-year-old would join the star-studded line-up alongside boxing legend Ricky Hatton, Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney, S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt, and Love Island winner Amber Davies.

The dad of three famously joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2016, where he danced with pro dancer Natalie Lowe.

And now he’s ready to try a new challenge and pop on his ice skates as the exciting ITV show gets under way in the new year.

But when the Olympian isn’t training for DOI, he’s spending time at his stunning home – which features a very impressive kitchen.

The doting dad shared a peek as one of his brood, Daphne, crawled across the marble island in the centre of the room.

The space features chic panelled sage cupboards and plenty of room to rustle up delicious meals.

Greg’s kitchen-cum-diner also boasts a large white table and bookshelves to house their cooking recipes.

Elsewhere, the spacious home boasts a very large rustic lounge with a huge green sofa, patterned rattan rug and white walls.

Greg and his partner Susie have made the space very homely, with keepsakes and ornaments dotted around, as well as a busy bookshelf.

The Olympian has also added unique pieces of artwork to the walls around his home, including one of a seashell which sits above a pink beanbag.

And the kids’ rooms are just as cosy and fun, with pops of colour everywhere.

Greg shared a snap of one of them, as he told his legion of fans that “bedtimes don’t always go smoothly.”

In the space, fans could see a white bunkbed, posters on the walls, toys galore, and fluffy grey carpets running throughout the space.

His brood looked delighted as they played together in the spacious and airy room.

Outdoors, Greg can keep fit to gear up for his time in the rink by using his alfresco gym.

The star could be seen working out with his equipment in the garden, on a wooden patio area.

After the news of his DOI journey was announced, Greg told his former Strictly co-star Ed Balls on GMB: "I think this is going to be a really different experience and one that's going to be quite exciting.

"I like a challenge and I've realised over the last couple of years I haven't been training as much. I needed a reason to go out and do something again.

"What I really want to do on the show is perform something that's never been done before.

"I'm not going to be the best dancer in the world, but I'm relatively strong still.

"Whoever I'm partnered with I want to throw them higher than they've ever been thrown or do a trick that's never been done before. That's my aim.

"I'll go 100,000% on this. I'll try hard, I'm in no way expecting to be good but I will work as hard as I can."

Greg not only revealed to the nation he's on Dancing On Ice on Good Morning Britain – he used it as a way of breaking the news to his children.

The dad-of-three added: "They've all been saying for ages they want me to do something interesting again.

"I think I'm boring them again, so hopefully this will be good for them to come and see."
