Robbie Williams: Netflix documentary trailer
Robbie Williams has candidly opened up about his relationship with Geri Halliwell-Horner in his new Netflix documentary which has been released today (Wednesday, November 8).
The 49-year-old former Take That star has given fans an insight into his life in the self-titled programme.
In the documentary, viewers will see intimate footage of Robbie enjoying a holiday in the South of France with the former Spice Girl.
Both the pop stars, who were in their 20s at the time of their romance, are seen in their swimwear enjoying luxury boat trips and being pulled by a dinghy in the sea.
However, Robbie explains in the documentary that their relationship wasn’t that straightforward.

He said: “It was a very confusing relationship because she’s a girl, I’m a boy, and we are very good friends trying to sort out the wreckage of the past.”
The Angels hitmaker revealed his romance with Geri started during a time he was in Alcoholics Anonymous.
Robbie added: “You’re told not to get into a relationship in the first year and I get it.
“I can’t even look after a cactus let alone somebody else.”

Although Robbie and Geri seemed to be enjoying their time together, it all came crashing down after he spoke to a paparazzi photographer.
As they told Robbie his beau was letting slip their location for publicity opportunities, the Take That star thought it was true.
He added: “Now I don’t think that’s true for one second, but at the time I did believe it.
“It just goes to show what being in the spotlight can do to your psyche when you can’t trust anybody.”
Despite the fling coming to an end, it looks as though the pair share a close bond as Geri opened up to Piers Morgan back in 2010 about Robbie helping her through a dark time.
She confessed: “Robbie knew about my bulimia and he advised me to get help. He told me to go to rehab and that possibly saved my life.
“The bulimia would have got worse without it. I will always be grateful to him, always.”
Robbie’s new Netflix documentary is available to watch now.
