A few weeks ago, Yolande (Angela Wynter) returned to EastEnders and revealed to former lover Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) that she’s been kicked out by her boyfriend, Anton, and needs a place to stay.
Initially, Patrick was reluctant to do something but with a little help from Denise (Diane Parish) and Kim (Tameka Empson), he confronted his fears and spoke to Yolande about their past and whether they have a future together.
After dancing in the laundrette (it’s as iconic as the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, trust us), Patrick and Yolande decided to reunite and in upcoming episodes, they are completely smitten.
Aw!
It becomes apparent, however, that Yolande is hiding something as she avoids picking up the phone to someone.
It appears she is ignoring Anton’s calls as he then arrives in Walford and picks a fight with Patrick.
As things cool down, Anton insists that Yolande is leaving with him and says that she’s got until tomorrow to come back and make amends.
It seems that Yolande isn’t prepared to return to Anton as he pleads with her to return to Birmingham later in the week, and even goes a step further by giving her an ultimatum.
But what is it?
And what really happened between Yolande and Anton that made her want to up sticks and return to Albert Square?
