Adele breaks down in tears as she spots the doctor who delivered her baby in the audience during emotional Las Vegas residency performance

Adele burst into tears as she spotted the doctor who delivered her baby in the audience of her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace on Saturday night.

The Hello singer, 35, was dressed as Morticia Addams for Halloween as she sang When We Were Young from her album 25.

As she performed the emotional song, Adele suddenly paused her concert as she spotted a familiar face, bursting into tears as she rushed into the audience to give the doctor a hug.

Adele has a 10-year-old son, Angelo, from her three year marriage to Simon Konecki and has said she is ‘ready to be a mom again soon.’

During the weekend 33 performance, Adele could be seen mouthing ‘shut up!’ in between lines of the heartbreaking ballad, as she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

Sweet: The famous singer rushed up into the audience to give the doctor a hug, pausing her performance of When We Were Young

‘Oh my god, Colin! Oh my god! This is my doctor that gave birth to my baby!

‘I haven’t seen you for years!’ she exclaimed, as she paused the song and ran up into the audience.

As Adele caught up with her long-lost friend, the tune continued playing in the background.

The Rolling In The Deep apologised to her fans as she was caught up in the emotion.

‘Sorry!’ she said. ‘Will you sing it for me? That man delivered my baby!’

Fans on Twitter rushed to praise the touching moment and Adele’s sweet gesture to the doctor.

One said: ‘This is so heartwarming,’ while another added: ‘That’s just the coolest thing ever!’

It comes after Adele told her fans she gets ‘a bit jealous’ of her friends dating online during a gig at Caesar Palace in Las Vegas.

The London-born hitmaker praised her other half – sports agent Rich Paul, 44 – but admitted she envies her pals who seek romance on the dating apps.

As someone who never tried the booming internet dating platforms herself, Adele revealed she met Rich during a party in LA – nothing less than the ‘old-school’ way.

‘I get a bit jealous. I never really got to do online dating as it became a thing after I was famous. I am with the love of my life, I’m obsessed with him,’ the Hello hitmaker said.

‘We met the old-school way. But sometimes I do wish I’d had that courtship online,’ she admitted.

Adele and Rich have been dating for two years. They went public with their relationship in July 2021 when they were seated courtside together at an NBA game.

The Grammy winner has been wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring on her left ring finger for about a year.

In the past when asked about it, she commented that it wasn’t an engagement ring, she simply likes high end jewelry.

She met LeBron James’ agent on the dance floor at a mutual friend’s birthday party.

She has frequently praised her boyfriend and called their relationship the easiest one she’d ever been in during an interview with Rolling Stone.

Adele paused her show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace to catch-up with her long-lost friend

‘He’s just hilarious. Oh, he’s so funny, he’s hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he’s very, very smart. It’s quite incredible watching him do what he does,’ she said about Paul on CBS in 2021.

‘It’s just timing. But it’d be interesting to see what my reaction is like in general to anything that hurts me now that I feel so secure in myself, and I’m talking outside of romance as well.’

Last month, during her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas, the Skyfall singer revealed that she’d like to have another child.

‘I really want to be a mom again soon,’ Adele said during a sweet exchange with someone in the audience.

The I Drink Wine singer then admitted she’s been ‘writing lists’ of names.

‘So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.’

Adele has signed a deal to extend her sell-out Vegas shows for a second time, it was reported earlier this month.

The Hello hitmaker has signed a bumper new deal to extend her sell-out shows across the pond yet again, The Sun has reported.

Settled: The London-born hitmaker praised her other half – sports agent Rich Paul , 44 – but admitted she envies her pals who seek romance on the dating apps

This will be the second time the show has been extended, dashing fan hopes that a world tour was perhaps in the singer’s near future.

The series of shows, titled Weekends With Adele at Colosseum At Caesars Palace, are scheduled to run until June 2024 following a short break next month, after her current stint finishes on November 4.

The star soared back into the charts in 2021 with her fourth album 30 and has since been selling out her Vegas residency.

A source told the publication: ‘Vegas is perfect Adele. It means she can perform regularly for her fans without having to have life on the road.

‘It’s only a short trip from LA once a week so when she’s not on stage she is able to still be with her son Angelo

‘A second extension has been agreed and looks set to be announced during her final weekend next month.’
