Bobby Brazier’s Dad Apologies After Interrupting Strictly Interview

Bobby Brazier phone went off in the middle of an interview for Strictly Come Dancing 2023.

The EastEnders favourite picked up the call and quickly revealed it was his dad Jeff Brazier who had called.

The 20-year-old was seen discussing that he was doing a quiz for the BBC show at the time, and was seen sat alongside partner Dianne Buswell.

In a new video shared on the programme’s official Instagram page today, Bobby said his father, 44, had apologised down the line.

The Freddie Slater star left the red-haired dancer, 34, in hysterics by his cheeky antics which were all caught on camera.

The pair were answering a series of light-hearted questions alongside their fellow stars when the incident happened.

Tasked with deciding who was the “funniest”, the duo both held up paddles that read, “Them”.

But their conversation quickly took a turn when Bobby was seen reaching for his pocket, presumably as his phone was ringing.

“Bobby’s funny without even knowing it,” Dianne started, before quickly realising the issue: “Oh! Oh no…”

“Dad!” Jade Goody’s son was heard replying, leaving her open-mouthed and laughing.

“In Elstree,” he was heard saying. “I’m currently doing a quiz-type show and now on the phone to you in front of the cameras.”

“He says, ‘Sorry,'” Bobby added.

The clip was shared with 1.1 million followers, with the caption: “Who is the most stylish and who brings the snacks? Find out in part two of our #Strictly paddle game.”

Jeff has been a big supporter of his son and his Strictly journey, being seen in the studio audience sobbing after his first performance.

Earlier this week, Bobby blamed his dad for not having watched Strictly before during an interview on spin-off It Takes Two.

He covered his hands with his face in embarrassment, stating: “I don’t know what to say.

“I’ve never owned a TV, that’s it. It’s always been the punishment at home that you are not allowed to watch TV.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2023 continues tonight at 6.20pm on BBC One.
