Adam explained that since his father was a Motown singer, that was probably the reason he enjoyed entertaining people.

He said: “My dad left us when we were kids, it was tough for my brother [Scott] being at such a young age to step in.”

As Adam’s older brother confessed to taking on the father figure role, it became clear how close the three brothers were.

Following his routine even the usually unflappable Shirley Ballas was moved. “I feel like you’re quite emotional and in that case, you’re making me rather emotional today,” she told him.

In the end, they were given a total of 32 for their routine which is the same score they were received the previous week for their waltz.
