After joining forces back in 2021 for a watch collaboration that exuded ‘90s sensibilities, Zodiac is reuniting with Worn & Wound for another nostalgia-fuelled co-creation featuring a duo of Super Sea Wolf Laser Tag limited-editions.
Equipped with Zodiac’s signature 200m water resistance, the two collaborative Super Sea Wolf references are presented in rugged and sturdy 40mm stainless steel cases, finished with gray PVD coating. The sensations, sights, and enjoyment offered in laser tag are translated into the watches’ design and visual language, which actually took two years to finalize. Photoreactive elements are also imbued across the dial, bezel, watch strap, as well as external packaging.
Implemented with the states of illumination, the two references showcase varying effects when bathed in different types of light. Both versions are bestowed fitting names, going by Ultraviolet and Infrared respectively. The former features a dark purple dial and bezel as well as a chapter ring in a soft mint hue. Splashes of light blue and pale green further highlight the bezel, while the dial is embellished with fuchsia, green, purple, and faded blue accents. As for Infrared, the reference arrives in a mostly deep scarlet palette. The dial is both brightened and punctuated with pops of bright blue, white, and hot pink, while a touch of dark purple and orange enriches the nuanced palette.
The two Zodiac x Worn & Wound Super Sea Wolf Laser Tag watches each come in a limited run of 282 units, with a price point of $1,595 USD. The collaboration will be available for pre-order today starting at 1 p.m. ET at the Windup’s online shop.
