Households don't have long left to claim free money from the bank.
No one wants to say no to free cash and thanks to Halifax you could receive £225 for a bank switch.
The bonus ends on August 31 which means Brits have just one day left to claim the offer.

Customers signing up to Halifax's New Reward or Ultimate Reward current account will receive £150 free.
The money is paid into your account within three working days of completing the switch.
Plus you can earn £25 in cashback when spending £750 or more on one of the new Halifax debit cards each month.
If you do it for three months, that's £75 in cashback, which equals to £225 when combined with the £150 offer.
You can still switch bank accounts after that date, but you won't be able to receive the bonus.
Banks and building societies often offer switching bonuses to bring new customers in.
It's easy to make the change as the vast majority of banks are registered up to the CASS.
Through the service, you apply for the new bank account and your old one will inform them you're moving.
If the application is accepted, the bank will make the switch and ask you to choose a date for it.
It also means all your direct debits, salary and balance will be switched across, making it less hassle.

There are some things to bear in mind before switching, like choosing the date and organising old bank statements.
You can get your old statements by getting in touch with your bank.
Other banks are usually offering similar incentives to get you to move.
New First Direct customers can receive £175 free cash and access to a 7% savers account.
You have to pay in £1,000 or more within three months of switching, then wait 28 days for the money to arrive.
Meanwhile NatWest is offering £200 to switch.
To get the money, open the account online or on the app then pay £1,250 or more, and use the app within 60 days.
