David Beckham sat front row of his wife's Paris fashion show but his choice of outfit has got fans talking.
The 48-year-old supported Victoria at her catwalk for her Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Paris Fashion Week alongside three of their children, Harper, Crux and Brooklyn.
David sat front row with fashion royalty Anna Wintour, model and TV star Kim Kardashian and Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham while wearing socks and sandals.
Fans were less than impressed by the outfit choice of the dad-of-four as he watched Posh Spice's latest collection modelled at the grand 18th-century Parisian townhouse that was once home to Karl Lagerfeld.
Victoria posted a picture of the A-list filled front row of her show but critics seemed to only focus on one thing – David's footwear.
One fan commented: "Socks and sandals. A hard no."
Another added: "Socks and sandals (with laughing face emojis) that is so not a good look."
While a third said: "Socks and sandals, David???"
And another replied: "Sock with sandals (laughing face emoji) love it, so very British."
It isn't the first time David has rocked socks and sandals at Victoria's fashion show, as he wore them at her London Fashion Week in 2020.
The former Manchester United star divided opinion back then by wearing white socks and sliders.
Some fans commented that if David is doing it – it must be "cool" now – while others were quick to dub it a fashion faux pas.
This time around, David went for the laid-back look by pairing his white socks and brown strappy sandals combo with a white t-shirt underneath an understated black suit.
His son Cruz opted for a double denim outfit with classic green Converse while daughter Harper, wore a chic white dress with spaghetti straps and £840 Prada mule heels.
Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz and Romeo’s girlfriend Mia Regan dressed up in fishnet tights and platform heels, while Brooklyn went for the dressed-down t-shirt look.
As well as Kim Kardashian, many other celebrities friends of Victoria's attended the show, dressed to the nines.
Stars such as Eva Longoria, Pamela Anderson, Kris Jenner, Shanina Shaik and Olivia Palermo also attended.
After the show, David posted a behind-the-scenes snap of him and wife Victoria ahead of the show.
He captioned the post: "The calm after the storm, we are so proud of you as … Once again you out do even your high standards x we love you ."
One fan replied: "My heart is warm. Stay strong and communicate. This world is tough but you two are tougher. Love you so much, both of you."
While another added: "My idols. Such a lovely couple. God bless you guys."
